Rules and conditions for using our e-bike rental platform

Service Agreement and Acceptance

By accessing or using MachiVolt Bikes services, you enter into a binding agreement with us and agree to comply with these terms of service. This agreement governs your use of our e-bike rental platform, mobile application, and all related services throughout.

You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid form of identification to use our services. By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Account Registration and Responsibilities

Creating a MachiVolt Bikes account requires providing accurate personal information, including valid identification, contact details, and payment information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breaches. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activities.

E-Bike Rental Terms andge Rules

Our e-bikes are available for rental through our smart dock network located near train stations, business districts, and other strategic locations across. Each rental begins when you successfully unlock a bike using our QR code system and ends when you properly dock the bike at an authorized station.

You must operate e-bikes safely and in accordance withese traffic laws. Bikes are for single-rider use only and must not be used for commercial delivery services, racing, or any illegal activities. Proper helmet use is strongly recommended and may be required in certain areas.

Pricing, Payments, and Billing

Rental fees are charged according to our published pricing structure, including pay-per-ride rates, monthly commuter passes, and corporate fleet agreements. All charges are processed through secure payment systems, and you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees.

Additional charges may apply for extendedge beyond standard rental periods, damage to equipment, or failure to return bikes to authorized docking stations. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice provided through our platform.

Insurance Coverage and Liability

All MachiVolt Bikes rentals include basic insurance coverage for third-party liability and equipment damage during normal use. This coverage is provided through our partnership with licensed insurance providers and complies withese insurance regulations.

Users are responsible for reporting accidents or incidents immediately and cooperating with insurance claim processes. Coverage may be void in cases of misuse, illegal activities, or failure to follow safety guidelines.

Equipment Care and Damage Responsibility

You are responsible for the proper care and handling of rented e-bikes during your rental period. This includes protecting the bike from theft, vandalism, and damage beyond normal wear and tear. Bikes must be returned to authorized docking stations in the same condition as received.

Users will be charged for repair or replacement costs for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow operating instructions. We conduct regular maintenance and safety inspections to ensure all equipment meets safety standards.

Prohibited Uses and Conduct

Users must not engage in activities that could harm our equipment, other users, or the general public. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: tampering with bike components, removing bikes from authorized service areas, using bikes while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or allowing unauthorized persons to use your account.

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate service for users who violate these terms, engage in dangerous behavior, or interfere with our operations or other users' enjoyment of our services.

Service Availability and Modifications

While we strive to maintain consistent service availability, MachiVolt Bikes reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services temporarily or permanently for maintenance, safety reasons, or business considerations. We will provide reasonable notice of planned service interruptions when possible.

Service availability may vary by location and time due to demand, weather conditions, or local regulations. We do not guarantee bike availability at specific locations or times.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software, designs, and materials associated with MachiVolt Bikes services are protected by intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use our services for personal transportation purposes only.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials without explicit written permission. Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used without authorization.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect user data and comply with applicableese privacy laws and regulations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted byese law, MachiVolt Bikes' liability for any damages arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific rental period in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where prohibited by applicable law.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These terms are governed byese law, and any disputes will be resolved through the appropriateese courts or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. We encourage users to contact our customer service team first to resolve issues amicably.

For corporate clients, specific dispute resolution procedures may be outlined in separate fleet agreements or service contracts.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may close your account through our platform or by contacting customer service. We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms, non-payment, or other legitimate business reasons.

Upon termination, you remain responsible for all charges incurred and must return any rented equipment. Certain provisions of these terms will survive termination, including payment obligations and liability limitations.

Updates to Terms of Service

We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be communicated through email notifications and prominent notices on our platform.
